Dark clouds
Minn was washing clothes this afternoon and being a blur sotong, she forgot to place the water hose from the washing machine into the sink to drain out the water, and in the end, you'd have guessed it! The whole bathroom was flooding and as we're staying in a 2-storey house, the water quickly seeps all the way to the 1st floor, with water dripping everywhere from the living room ceiling, wetting the carpets!
Oh my god!!! We just cannot believe it!!!! There's water everywhere and i'm most worried about the carpets...if the carpets get mouldy and wet, the housing agent will definitely deduct our bond and in the end, we might lose our bond money all together...No choice, Minn tackled the bathroom while i tried to absorbed as much water from the carpet as quick as i can...in the end, i've absorbed 2 large pails of water from the carpet (white pail in the pic) and tried using the hair-dryer to dry the carpets...
Can't believe that we've encountered the 2nd flooding in 2 months (average of 1 per month) and i must say, we're getting quite good at relieving the floods!
